BANGOR (WGME) -- A Massachusetts man and a Maine woman are facing drug charges after police say they found fentanyl, cocaine, and crack inside a vehicle in Bangor. Police say they spotted 31-year-old Saquan Gaul of Boston driving on Union Street in Bangor on the Fourth of July. According to police, Gaul did not have a valid driver’s license.

Four decades after Maine resident Charlie Howard was killed, the Bangor community gathered to honor his life and legacy. In the summer of 1984, Howard and his boyfriend were walking down a main road in town when a group of teenagers yelling homophobic slurs approached them. Track worker injured in Speedway 95 collision
HERMON -- A track worker was sent flying into the infield after being hit on the track yesterday at Speedway 95 during races. A spectator caught a video of what appears to be a yellow flag being waved, followed by an employee driving onto the track in a four-wheeler, in the immediate path of an oncoming race car.

There was an incident at Speedway 95 on Sunday. With cars on the track in Hermon, Maine, a track worker went onto the hot track.
