Sheriff’s office investigating after robbery at Dollar General in Fair Bluff
FAIR BLUFF, N.C. (WECT) - Deputies are investigating after a robbery at the Dollar General in Fair Bluff on Sunday, July 21, at around 10 p.m. Per the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, deputies talked to an employee who said that a man entered the store and demanded the money from the safe, but he said to the man that he did not have a key to the safe.
Robeson County man serving life for murder approved for parole in 2027

Man Charged With B&E Of A Motor Vehicle, Possession Of Stolen Goods, and Other Charges
The Rowland Police Department has been conducting an ongoing investigation into several motor vehicle break-ins and thefts. During the course of the investigation, 24 year-old Flemming Tillman Ragas was identified as a person of interest. He was interviewed and charged with 6 counts of B&E (Breaking & Entering) Motor Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Goods, 2nd Degree Trespassing, and 2 counts of Misdemeanor Larceny. Ragas is currently being held at the Robeson County Jail under a $100,000 secured bond. The Rowland Police would like to thank everyone who has helped assist in these investigations.
