Family Safe, Home Damaged After Blaze on Silver Cloud Lane in Knoxville
A house fire that took place Sunday evening in Knoxville has left a residence with severe damage, but thankfully, no injuries were reported. The Knoxville Fire Department responded to a distress call at around 6:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Silver Cloud Lane. WVLT reported that a woman alerted the authorities after finding her home filled with smoke and noting that her husband had re-entered the property.

Round 3 of Thunderstorms
Mostly cloudy skies are expected on Wednesday with the chance for showers and thunderstorms due to a cold front approaching the area. A few storms could contain gusty winds. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s. A few showers stick around tonight under partly cloudy skies. Lows will be in around 60 with patchy fog after midnight. The late week will consist of temperatures in the low to mid-80s and partly sunny skies. The humidity will drop back as well. The weekend is continuing to look dry with fair skies. Highs will be in the mid-80s. Early next week, partly sunny skies stick around Monday and Tuesday with temperatures in the mid-80s.
Cooler & Less Humid Thursday
A cold front passing through the region this evening will result in pleasant conditions on Thursday with lower humidity and temperatures in the lower 80s under partly sunny skies. Similar conditions are likely on Friday with temperatures back into the lower 80s. It'll remain dry through the weekend with mid 80s likely both Saturday and Sunday. A few thunderstorms will return Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
