Tawas golfers earn All-State honors
TAWAS CITY – The Tawas Area golf team put up quite the showing this season, and plenty of people took notice. On Wednesday, at the MHSAA building in Lansing, members of the Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association (MIGCA) met to determine their All-State individual awards for the 2024 varsity golf season. Out of the more than 1,100 players that competed in a sanctioned event for a Division 3 school, the MIGCA awarded 13 players to the D3 All-State Team and 11 D3 All-State Honorable Mention.
