The 2024 Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Small-School All-Star Game at Titan Stadium on the UW-Oshkosh campus on Saturday afternoon will have a distinct Brodhead/Juda flavor.

Retiring Brodhead/Juda head coach Jim Matthys will guide the Small School South squad, Jeff Jubie will serve as an assistant and no less than three former Cardinals are on his South roster: 6-foot-1, 190-pound wide receiver Gunner Boegli, 5-7, 165-pound defensive back Marcus McIntyre and Matthys’ son, Blake, a 6-2, 220-pound linebacker.

Coach Matthys also has Clinton’s Darin Wecker on his coaching staff for the game.

The WFCA All-Star Games will be held Friday and Saturday. The 8-Player All-Star Game will be held Friday at 6 p.m. and the Small School and Large School All-Star Games are on Saturday. The Small School contest starts at noon and the Large School game is at 4 p.m.

    Tickets are $5 per person.

The games serve as a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, with participating players and coaches raising money for the Hospital. There will also be numerous raffles and other on-site fundraisers, including autographed helmets of Badgers and Packers players, Bucks tickets, hotel stays and more.
