Two Individuals Accused of Possessing & Dealing Cannabis in Grundy Co.
Two individuals from Bloomington, Illinois are accused of possessing and dealing cannabis in Grundy County. Police officials say 42-year-old Felix Rials and 33-year-old Candis Blues were arrested for possessing between 500 and 2000 grams of cannabis and possession with the intent to deliver between 500 and 2000 grams of cannabis.
DuPage County Offers Veterans Resource Fair
DuPage County recently announced their Veterans Resource Fair, which will be held Wednesday, August 21, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the first floor auditorium of the JTK Administration Building at 421 N. County Farm Road in Wheaton. The event, which is hosted by the DuPage County Recorder and the Veterans Assistance Commission of DuPage County, invites veterans and their families to attend. More than 80 service agencies and community organizations will be in attendance to offer information and assistance to veterans. Attendees are invited to enjoy refreshments and win door prizes as they receive information about programs designed to serve veterans and their families. A blessing and dedication was held Monday for the new urgent care facility opening in Sycamore. The new OSF OnCall urgent care is located at 661 S. Peace Road, Ste. 101 in Sycamore.
