The Maple Grove Senior Legion Post 172 is having a great summer. After losing two of three games, they responded by winning three in a row and are 8-3 before the July 4 break. On June 24, Maple Grove beat Park Center 8-1. A day later, they handled Becker 10-0 and on June 27, hung on to beat Champlin Legion 2-1. The Champlin Park LoGators started a busy run last week with a 7-0 win over the St. Michael Saints on June 25 at Noble Sports Park, extending its record to 5-0 in Metro Minny play.
