KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Repair Café, an organization that offers repair services, is collaborating with local nonprofit Re.Use.Full Saturday morning to help people across the Kansas City metro get their household items repaired for free.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., people can go to the Matt Ross Community Center — located at 8101 Marty St. in Overland Park, Kan. — to get their bikes, clothing, computers, lamps and small appliances mended by one of 20 volunteers.

Members of the community can also attend the event simply to donate their unwanted goods and surplus tools. Re.Use.Full will accept screwdrivers, hammers, clamps, pliers, wrenches, drills and soldering equipment as donations for future Repair Café events.

There is no charge for anyone to participate, so make sure to grab your broken items or unused tools and visit Repair Café and Re.Use.Full to give back to your community.
