Dallas police investigate fatal shooting of 18-year-old
DALLAS, Texas — An 18-year-old was fatally shot late Thursday night in Dallas, police say. On July 18, 2024, at about 11:25 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 11300 block of Amanda Lane. The preliminary investigation determined that when officers arrived, they found 18-year-old Khamoni Williams, of Dallas, Texas, shot and lying on the ground.

DALLAS, Texas — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run early on July 4, 2024, on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to Dallas police. The preliminary investigation determined that 35-year-old Lydie Zebaze Metsindon was walking on the Cedar Crest bridge when an unknown vehicle traveling northbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard struck her. The driver fled the scene without stopping to assist Zebaze Metsindon, who died at the scene.
