One injured following incident on Willow Pointe Dr.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - One person is injured following an incident on Willow Pointe Drive in Huntsville on Sunday evening. The Huntsville Police Department said officers were dispatched to the scene in the 6600 block of Willow Pointe Drive and found one victim with a non-life-threatening injury. Authorities said the victim was treated at the scene.
Fund set up for Madison Co. deputy involved in wreck on Hwy. 20
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - A fund has been established for a Madison County deputy involved in a wreck on Wednesday night. Madison County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Brent Patterson said the incident occurred after Detective Josh Moseley was directing traffic from his parked car on Highway 20 near Slaughter Road when he was hit by another driver going over 80 miles per hour.

MADISON COUNTY – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is sharing a way the community can show some support and love to an officer injured in an accident on Wednesday. Detective Josh Moseley was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident while working traffic control on I565 near Madison on July 17. The Sheriff’s office said he sustained multiple serious injuries throughout his body and has undergone several surgeries since the incident. Currently, he is receiving treatment in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Huntsville Hospital.
