    Crash closes Frederica Street Starbucks

    Officers with the Owensboro Police Department respond to the scene of a crash at the front entrance of Starbucks on Tuesday morning at 2402 Frederica St. Jeffery Zogg, 67, and Laurella Lamar, 49, were inside the store during the accident. They were treated for minor injuries on scene by American Medical Response (AMR). The driver of the vehicle, Adrian Aldrich, 19, was not injured.     Owensboro Police Department is currently investigating an accident that occurred Tuesday morning after a vehicle crashed through the front of the Starbucks Coffee shop building at 2402 Frederica St.

    Officer Mark Hammonds, OPD’s public information officer, said dispatch received a report of an injury accident at 7:37 a.m. when a 2019 Cadillac XT5, driven by Adrian Aldrich, 19, drove into the front entrance and window of the business.
