    CVB: June saw highest occupancy rates in history

    Owensboro-Daviess County Convention & Visitors Bureau reported Wednesday the month of June saw the highest occupancy rates in Owensboro and Daviess County history with 68.7%.     The month of June delivered big wins for tourism.

    Dave Kirk, destination management director for the Owensboro-Daviess County Convention & Visitors Bureau, reported Wednesday that occupancy through the month’s 30-day period recorded the “highest rate in the history of (the county)” with 68.7%.
