When Ole Miss defensive coordinator Pete Golding tweets the shark emoji there is always great news that follows.

Golding did exactly that early on Thursday which piqued the interest of Rebels fans. After a topsy-turvy week in recruiting Ole Miss got back on track when Edna Karr (La.) defensive lineman Corey Adams announced he is joining the Rebels.

Adams stands at 6-foot-5 weighing 235 pounds, and chose Ole Miss over LSU, TCU and USC. The three-star ranks as the No. 963rd overall recruit in the nation and the 88th-ranked defensive lineman in the 2025 cycle. He is the 10th commit in Ole Miss' 2025 recruiting class, per On3's Industry Rankings.

"I really did enjoy it," Adams told On3's Zach Berry. "You can tell they're all about business." Adams also noted his relationship with defensive line coach Randall Joyner as a major reason for his decision.

With the addition of Adams Ole Miss now sits at No. 23 in the country and 11th in the SEC in the 2025 recruiting cycle. The Rebels could have a few more massive additions to this class as the month of June comes to a close.
