Tim Tebow is fired up for the SEC and college football.

The legendary Florida Gators quarterback made a surprise appearance on SportsCenter over the weekend. During his interview on ESPN, Tebow was asked about which team in the SEC he thinks will surprise fans.

Tebow's answer? The Ole Miss Rebels.

“If I’m going to say one that’s really intriguing this year, I’m going to go with Ole Miss,” Tim Tebow told SportsCenter. “I think the Lane Train, he’s got the most talent that he’s ever had before. Jaxson Dart has experience. You have a plethora of receivers – all the people that have transferred in,” Tebow said. “You have a defense that is getting better, but it’s the most talent that they’ve ever had at defense."

You can watch Tebow's full interview thanks to the ESPN College Football YouTube channel .

Lane Kiffin and the Rebels are coming off of the first 11-win season in program history. Jaxson Dart returns as the starting quarterback, while the defense brings in key players like Walter Nolen and Princely Umanmielen from the transfer portal.

With a successful 2023 season and a ton of talent, the Rebels just need to figure out how to handle success, according to Tebow.

"You have to learn to win when you’re predicted to win, and that hasn’t always been the case for Ole Miss,” Tebow said. “But now they’ve had a year where they were predicted to win most of the time, so do they know how to handle success? I think that they’re going to handle success pretty well. They’ve got a hard schedule, but they’ve got a lot of experience."

The Rebels kick their season off against Furman on August 31.
