Canton forward Jamarion Davis-Fleming has narrowed his finalists to four schools, according to his social media post on Tuesday, in which he included Ole Miss and Mississippi State basketball.

Davis-Fleming, a four-star recruit according to 247Sports Composite, also had LSU and James Madison.

In a social media post Davis-Fleming said, "Where we going??"

The 6-foot-8, 215-pound senior also had offers from Wake Forest, Alabama, Fresno State and Jackson State. According to 247Sports Composite, he is the No. 1 recruit in Mississippi and the No. 16 big man in the Class of 2025.

This past season, Davis-Fleming helped lead Canton to its second MHSAA Class 5A state title and was named Mr. Basketball for Class 5A as he averaged 16 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks per game. He also was a 2023 Clarion Ledger Dandy Dozen boys basketball selection.

"I bring a lot (of energy), I mean, not only just for me but for my team," he told the Clarion Ledger in February. " . . . I bring a lot like, defense. I'm gonna get you about seven or six blocks a game. I'm a rebound hauler and bring a lot of energy to my team."

Davis-Fleming has said he will announce his decision on Oct. 15.
