The teams are set to open the season with a noon kickoff at SECU Stadium on Aug. 31. Maryland is 2-1 all-time against the Huskies, beating them in 1942 and 2013 and losing by a field goal in 2012. Former UConn coach and then-Maryland coach Randy Edsall was at the helm during the 2012-13 home-and-home series.
