Rebranded White Plains restaurant opens with focus on 'robust' agave cocktails
What had been the 2-year-old Archie Grand on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains is now El Primo, an agave bar with a Latin American focus. The restaurant, which opened July 1 and translates to "cousin," has the same ownership as before, namely Brazen Fox owners Declan Rainsford and Rory Dolan (who also owns Rory Dolan's in Yonkers), but with the addition of Daniel Cahill, formerly of The Blind Pig of Westchester and OMC in White Plains.

2:00 – 4:00 p.m. (The Manhasset Public Library, 30 Onderdonk Ave.) Melinda will demonstrate how to create 3 charcuterie boards: a traditional with meat and cheeses, a butter board with flavored butter and items to dip in, and last but not least, a dessert board. You will receive handouts with pairings, the components of creating a charcuterie board, how to assemble, a salami flower-making demo, and a plate of meats, cheeses, olives, pickles, fruits, and nuts to create a charcuterie cup with fancy picks that you can take home. You will also get to graze and nibble on the display boards! Priority to Manhasset library cardholders. Non-Manhasset cardholders will be placed on a waiting list.
