Candice Miller is speaking for the first time on her husband Brandon Miller’s tragic death by suicide earlier this summer after secretly dealing with financial strain that threatened their family’s lavish lifestyle.

“Candice is devastated by the loss of her soul mate, and her two young daughters’ lives are forever impacted by the loss of their beloved daddy,” the influencer, who ran the “Mama & Tata” lifestyle blog, told the New York Times Friday via a family spokesperson for a piece on her husband’s death.

Brandon died in July after he was found “unconscious” at his Hamptons, NY, home. He was 43 years old.

Per the Times, police were called to the property after a carbon monoxide alarm went off.

First responders discovered the late real estate mogul passed out inside of his white Porsche Carrera that he allegedly “rigged to poison himself,” law enforcement said.

He was reportedly found holding a photo of himself, his wife and their children.

Per the Times, he left a note for Candice, in which he expressed his love for her and their kids.

“He wrote that he believed he was doing what was best for them,” the outlet also noted, stating that the letter reportedly also notified Candice that there were two life insurance policies totaling about $15 million.

Prior to Brandon’s death, his family had been drowning in debt.

A source told The Post last month that the principal partner at Real Estate Equity Corporation likely owed close to $17 million before his death to friends who lent him funds during a time of desperation.

He was also being sued for more than $100,000 for luxury furniture and $50,000 for boat-related fees.

Per the Times, Brandon borrowed $1 million from a friend of more than 15 years for a development project in Brooklyn, NY, but the pal discovered that another developer had bought the place.

The deal gone wrong ended the pair’s longstanding friendship, and the unnamed pal told the Times that he has been left “devastated” by both their fallout and Brandon’s death.

Sources also told the outlet that the friend believed the late real estate developer “sincerely intended to use his money as a business investment before the deal went awry” but thought ultimately his financial burdens clouded his “judgment.”

Candice, for her part, was reportedly left in the dark about her family’s financial crisis until May, shortly before Brandon died, when a friend who had lent the developer money called her to tell her.

However, her husband reportedly set up a meeting with a lawyer to reassure her all was “under control.”

An insider told the Times that the Hamptons socialite was mostly focused on raising and caring for their two young girls, while Brandon handled all the business matters, which they “rarely discussed.”

“She had visited his office only once, and she met his business partner just three times — including, most recently, beside her husband’s grave,” a person familiar with the couple’s dynamics claimed.

Although the Miller family’s fall from grace has garnered a lot of public attention, Brandon’s sister, Maurley Miller, told the Times that she wants the focus to shift from the scandal to the real person behind it all.

“What people aren’t discussing in all of this is the loss of my little brother, someone I have loved unconditionally,” she said.

“I have a hole in my heart that will never be filled. I am completely devastated.”
