Bethenny Frankel publicly apologized to John Mulaney for missing his Hamptons comedy show over the weekend.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum explained in her TikTok apology Monday that she was “grateful to be invited” to his show on Saturday and had planned on bringing a friend with her.

“Because of something that had happened the day before, I was having social anxiety,” she admitted in her selfie-style video while speaking directly to the comedian.

Frankel, 53, clarified that her team did reach out to his ahead of the show to let them know she wouldn’t be able to make it, but the message “never got to” the people in charge of seating.

During the show at Montauk Point Lighthouse, which was held in support of the Montauk Historical Society, two front-row seats remained vacant with her name on the seat signs.

“That’s probably very distracting especially doing stand-up and I’m sorry and I think you’re so talented and I love stand-up comedy,” she continued during her apology video, which was titled, “I owe John Mulaney an apology.”

Frankel reiterated that she was grateful for the invite.

“I hope I get to make it next time, but I’m embarrassed,” she concluded.

A source told Page Six that Mike Birbiglia opened for Mulaney and made a joke about Frankel’s two vacant seats.

Once Mulaney took the stage, he quipped, “Good evening to everyone but Bethenny Frankel,” and “the entire audience went nuts.”

We’re told that the stand-up comedian, 41, then asked people to remove the reserved signs in Frankel’s seats so two of his fans from the back could sit in the front.

While most fans praised Frankel for apologizing, she clapped back at one commenter who was miffed she didn’t send the comedian a private message about the miscommunication.

“Yeah this is [a personal message]. I don’t know him. Have a great day bitter Betty.”

Although Frankel couldn’t make it, comedian Claudia Oshry, her husband, Ben Soffer, and designer Cynthia Rowley were present for the show.
