Atlanta is a dog-friendly town with plenty of restaurants that will allow you to bring your pup along for the meal. If you and your pooch just can’t bear to be separated, check out these top pet-friendly restaurants and patios in Atlanta, Georgia.

    Publico Kitchen and Tap

Publico Kitchen and Tap serves Latin-Asian fusion cuisine combined with craft beer and craft cocktails. This pet-friendly restaurant in Midtown has a patio where you can enjoy a taco and a drink with your canine friend, provided they are both friendly and leashed. Publico Kitchen and Tap has even partnered with the Atlanta Humane Society to create a delicious puppy menu just for dogs.

    Nina & Rafi

Located off of the Atlanta Beltline, Nina & Rafi is a great spot to stop with the pup. After going for a walk along the Beltline, you and your dog can take a break on Nina & Rafi’s outdoor patio for some Detroit-style pizza and a glass of cold beer. From the patio, you can look out over the Beltline and people-watch (and dog-watch).

    Perk-N-Pooch

Perk-N-Pooch in Sandy Springs does double duty as a café and a dog groomer. You can book your pup and appointment for professional grooming, or do it yourself, and then grab a light snack, coffee, milkshake, or smoothie while you wait. Perk-N-Pooch also offers pupcups so you can get your furry friend a reward for being so well behaved while they are groomed.

    ParkGrounds

ParkGrounds is a great mid-dog-walk destination for a cup of coffee, a bite to eat, a cold beer, or a quick chat with the neighbors. This Atlanta-original dog park, bar, and breakfast joint in Reynoldstown is a favorite of both dogs and humans. On the menu at ParkGrounds, you will find breakfast sandwiches and breakfast bowls served until 2 p.m., sandwiches served all day, espresso, coffee, lattes, teas, and cocktails.

    Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar

Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar in Peachtree Corners offers a spacious covered patio where you can hang with your furry friend. For humans, you can choose from a menu full of sandwiches, burgers, bowls, noodles, fish, meat, chicken, and meatless options. For dogs, there is a small menu of either a grilled hamburger patty bowl or a grilled chicken breast bowl, both with brown rice and veggies for a healthy meal for your pup. Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar has a new location coming to Dunwoody in winter 2021.
