Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain Park

Event Dates: July 1, 2022 through July 5, 2022

The Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Memorial Lawn at Stone Mountain Park features a special fireworks display following the Lasershow Spectacular every night from July 1 to July 5. Enjoy a full day of family fun with attractions and live entertainment during the day before the show.

AJC Peachtree Road Race

Event Dates: July 3, 2022 through July 4, 2022

The AJC Peachtree Road Race will return to the Fourth of July weekend this year for the 53rd annual edition of the 10 kilometer race. Those aged 6-14 can run the Peachtree Junior race on July 3, and the main event Peachtree Road Race will take place on July 4. There is also still a virtual option that is open to everyone.

Southern-Fried Gaming Expo

Event Dates: July 15, 2022 through July 17, 2022

This three-day fan convention is focused exclusively on gaming, including arcade games, pinball machines, console systems, tabletop gaming, and RPGs. The Southern-Fried Gaming Expo is Georgia’s largest arcade. The family-friendly event will be held at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel and Cobb Galleria Convention Center and will feature vendors, special guest speakers, wrestling, tournaments, and more.

2022 Summer Fun Festival

Event Date: July 16, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This free festival at the Jason T. Harper Event Center in McDonough is a fun family event that includes a petting zoo, kids' fun zone, live DJ, games, delicious food, vendors and more. All proceeds from the event benefit the homeless and disadvantaged.

Atlanta Ice Cream Festival

Event Date: July 23, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The 12th annual Atlanta Ice Cream Festival is back at Piedmont Park. Enjoy over 100 vendors offering delicious treats, wellness engagement and fitness routines, craft vendors, and live music and other entertainment.

PeachFest at Peachtree Center

Event Date: July 26, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

PeachFest returns to Peachtree Center to celebrate peach season, great chefs, and more. The Plaza will be open to feature Atlanta's best food artisans, pastry chefs, and barkeeps. Enjoy peach-centric dishes, beer, wine, cocktails, and more.
