Streets and lots in downtown Corning to close for Gus Macker Basketball Tournament
Streets and parking lots on the northside of downtown Corning will be closed starting Friday for the Gus Macker Basketball Tournament this weekend. The Corning Credit Union Parking Lot will close from 5 p.m. Friday until 5 p.m. Sunday, July 21, though the drive thru ATM will remain accessible throughout the weekend.

Steamers Beat Horseheads In Yesterday’s Make Up Game
The Hornell Steamers scored two in the 8th and five more in the 9th to earn a 13-11 victory over the Horseheads on Thursday afternoon. Alex Dupuy (LSU Eunice) got Hornell on the board in the 1st when he lifted a solo homer to left but Kyler Hickman tied it up in the 2nd with a solo homer of his own.
