SAN MARCOS — Law enforcement seized an illegal, unregistered firearm from an individual in San Marcos on Saturday and arrested him for several firearm-related charges. The suspect, 25-year-old Victor Lopez, got out of his car and fled from deputies after they attempted to pull him over just before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday on West Mission Road near Comet Circle, according to the San Marcos Sheriff’s Station.
