PALM COAST — The Flagler County Sheriff's Office has apprehended a suspect who deputies said escaped from AdventHealth South on State Road 100 in Palm Coast Saturday morning.

A Facebook post from the sheriff's office Saturday afternoon said the man had been located and is in custody.

"During the apprehension a Sheriff's K-9 took a bite out of crime!" read the update on Facebook. "We thank the community for 'seeing something, saying something.' "

Hours earlier, deputies had asked people to be on the lookout for 29-year-old Anthony John Romine. They described him as a white male who is 5’9” tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair.
