Former director convicted in daycare theft ordered to pay thousands of dollars
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — A former Grand Island day care director convicted of stealing thousands of dollars from the center was sentenced to five years probation on July 10. Andrew Moss, who ran St. Paul's Cornerstone Early Learning Center, pleaded guilty in April to theft by unlawful taking – more than $5,000.
New GICC elementary school ready to welcome students
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. – The new Catholic elementary school in Grand Island is one month away from opening its doors and everything is set for the school year. “We were not expecting that much. In the initial phases of this project we thought maybe the projections were that we would see 95 to 100 students.
