JONESBORO — During its Monday, July 8 meeting, the Jonesboro City Council approved the hiring of ChaQuias Miller-Thornton as new city manager. At the July 8 meeting, Mayor Donya Sartor said Miller-Thornton’s salary will be $125,000 per year, and she will also receive a $600 per month car allowance.
