4 suspects sought after attempted purse robbery turns violent in North Philadelphia
Police are looking for four people accused in a violent robbery.New surveillance images were released Friday of the June 23 incident on North Broad Street in North Philadelphia.The suspects include four males and two females.Police say the two female suspects tried stealing another woman's purse.When her friend intervened, all four suspects assaulted that friend.Police also say three of the suspects were also involved in an assault earlier that same day in the 1500 block of Cecil B. MANCHESTER — A suspect has been charged with murder in the death of a 25-year-old mother found shot to death in the stomach. He is a fugitive from justice. Maxwell Johnston, 35, of Manchester, is the suspect in the killing of Gabriella Caroleo, of Barnegat. Her body was found near the intersection of Ridgeway Road (Route 571) and Hope Chapel Road (Route 547) in Manchester on June 27.

Philadelphia police have released video showing gunmen firing dozens of shots at a Chinese takeout restaurant while patrons, including a child, were inside.The shootout happened at 27th and Dickinson streets at 10:30 p.m. on Monday. Five people were wounded.One angle shows two suspects running right up to the restaurant and immediately opening fire. An inmate was killed by his cellmate at the State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, as confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Police on Tuesday night.
