LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Two people were sent to the hospital after police say a small plane crashed at Reigle Airport in Palmyra Friday afternoon.

The crash happened after 2:30 p.m. at the airport, located at 1805 South Forge Road, while the plane was starting to take off, according to a release. The two men, an 80-year-old from York and a 68-year-old from Lewisberry, were in the plane, when it suddenly veered to the left and crashed.

The men were then hurried to Hershey Medical Center for evaluation of their injuries. Police said the pilot suffered minor injuries and the passenger had moderate injuries.
