    Body found in Palo Alto parking lot, police call death ‘suspicious'

    ( KRON ) — The deceased body of an adult male was found in a Palo Alto parking lot Thursday, according to the Palo Alto Police Department. The body was discovered by a passerby on the 1st floor of City Parking Lot S around 12:15 pm.

    The deceased man was in his sixties and appears to be a member of the unhoused community, according to PAPD. At this time, it is unknown how the man died, but police are calling his death “suspicious.”

    Police have shut down the 400 blocks of Bryant and Florence streets to thru traffic as they investigate. As of 5:30 p.m., PAPD did not say if the streets have reopened.

    There is no information about any suspect(s).

    PAPD did not release the man’s identity.
