The Long Beach, New York-based band known as Deez Guyzz started when its members Lars and Paul met in the summer of 2020 at a party in town. They decided to start a band. In August 2021, their music teacher Benoir at Studio Noir, introduced them to the other group members. A few months later in October 2021, Deez Guyzz performed their first show at the nearby Barnum Ballroom, and early 2023 found the group backing Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer Darryl "DMC" McDaniels (Run-DMC) at a live performance covered by the Long Beach Herald. Today, the band consists of Alejandro (keyboard), Lars (drums), Paul (guitar), Bridie (bassist) and Quinn (vocals).

Deez Guyzz reunited with the earlier-mentioned DMC for a one-off performance at Long Beach, New York's Bright Eye Beer Co. with Bakithi Kumalo (Paul Simon, Cyndi Lauper, Herbie Hancock, Tedeschi Trucks Band) on bass.
