Kelly Ripa and Mark Conseulos' Son Scares Up Adventure in Rare Summer Photo

Michael Consuelos appears to be spending what's left of the summer diving into adventure.

The eldest son of celebrity couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos recently took to social media to let fans in on what he's been up to this summer, and it looks like there's been plenty of thrill-seeking for the 27-year-old.

In his newest Instagram post shared earlier this week, Michael could be seen posing behind a gigantic waterfall while standing atop a pile of rocks overlooking the rushing water below. He didn't share exactly where the flowing waterfall was located, but it had to be somewhere near a pretty sizable body of water.

Michael's black swim trunks appeared to be wet in the photo, although it's not clear if the photo was taken before or after he presumably jumped in the water. The Riverdale alum was, however, holding up both of his arms in what looked to be an expression of triumph.

"Gollum Boy Summer," he captioned his post, seemingly in reference to the character from The Lord of the Rings .

Michael's famous mom was among those who commented on the post, and she even kept the reference going, writing, "Atta Gollum boy" under her son's pic.

Michael is one of three children Kelly, 53, shares with her longtime husband Mark, 53, who is also her co-host on their morning talk show, Live With Kelly and Mark . In addition to their firstborn son, Kelly and Mark share 23-year-old daughter Lola Consuelos , as well as 21-year-old son Joaquin Consuelos .
