Forever 21 shoppers have quite a bone to pick with the popular retail chain.

The multinational clothing company recently came under fire after musician and social media influencer Samyra shined a light on the brand's seemingly dwindling commitment to carrying plus sizes, an issue that has many of their usual customers ready to find another place to shop.

Samyra, a vocal advocate for the plus-size community with over 1.9 million followers on TikTok, recently did a deep-dive on Forever 21's plus-size options, only to be quite disappointed with what she found.

As laid out in a TikTok video posted late last month, Samyra went to five different Forever 21 stores in the Los Angeles area to look for plus-size clothing, finding it only at one of the locations, where the options were limited to a small disheveled section that was clearly not being prioritized.

It was later discovered that the retailer's plus-size brand Instagram account, Forever 21 Plus, was deleted, leading Samyra and hundreds of followers to believe that the company might be doing away with plus-size clothing entirely.

"This makes me so mad! I just want cute and affordable clothes like everybody else," one of Samyra's followers on TikTok, while another person called the news "so unfortunate."

"I have just given up at this point," another disappointed fan added.

Another viral content creator named Remi Bader also noticed the same thing recently, going viral on TikTok after claiming that Forever 21 is scaling back its investment in plus-size clothing.

"I'm in awe that Forever 21 deleted their plus-size account on Instagram, like it's gone, like there's no more," she said in the clip. "I also noticed on their plus-size section on the website that they're now doing like 70% off everything, and clearly, this means that they're no longer making new plus-size clothes."

Bader also claimed that she was "ghosted" by the retailer after she was asked to be a consultant for the brand's plus-size clothing.

Forever 21 did, however, reach out to Samyra recently, messaging her on social media to invite her to come to their office and give her feedback.

The brand also released a statement across their social media pages, claiming to be "committed to taking action" based on the public's backlash.

"maybe bring plus size back in store then šŸ™‚ā€ā†”ļø" one fan commented onĀ  Forever 21's Instagram post, while someone else stressed, "We need it in all stores. Period."

"Why donā€™t yall just include ā€œplus sizeā€ in the racks of the other clothesā€¦" someone else wanted to know.

Samyra also commented on the post, writing to the brand, "Thank you for taking the time to hear our concernsā€”canā€™t wait to continue the conversation!"
