Amanda Bynes Shows Off New Hair Color in Rare Solo Outing in Los Angeles

Amanda Bynes is rocking a fresh, major new style.

The former actress was spotted out and about on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles earlier this week, where she'd traded in her typical blonde locks for a dark black 'do.

In photos obtained by the Daily Mail , she was seen crossing the street, with her long dark locks hanging down to her chest, with her bangs brushed back and off of her face. We presume the new look is thanks to a wig, due to the fact she shaved half of her head down to a buzzcut back in December and later shared with fans she'd be opting for wigs as it was "growing out so awkwardly."

The Nickelodeon alum, who opted out of the docuseries that exposed the dark lives of child actors on the network earlier this year, attempted to keep cool in the heatwave in an oversized gray tee and khaki shorts, showing off the tattoos on her legs and forearms. She accessorized with a black floral crossbody purse and black crew socks and sneakers with white accents.

It marks a rare appearance for the child star, who is now working hard to become certified as a manicurist . The 38-year-old was previously seen in LA earlier this year, where she was seen vaping while wearing a trendy black T-shirt with sheer black tights and all-black high-top sneakers.

At the time, her blonde hair was pulled back and out of her face, while she accessorized with a small black Chanel bag and wide-frame sunglasses.
