Hoda Kotb Feels 'Lucky' While Celebrating Milestone Birthday in New Photos

Hoda Kotb 's 60th birthday is off to a great start!

The Today personality is marking a milestone birthday on Friday, Aug. 9, and before she got the chance to do much of anything, she was greeted with a wonderful surprise at her home by the beach.

Sharing the joy-filled moments with fans, Kotb posted four photos of herself joined by her two young daughters – Haley , 7, and Hope , 4–her mother, Sameha , her younger brother, Adel , and her niece, Hannah .

The first image showed Hoda's ecstatic reaction upon opening up a gift, presumably given to her by Haley and Hope, who both stood before her. The second snap caught the youngest of her two daughters holding a bouquet of colorful balloons intended for the doting mom. A third image captured Kotb's mom as she sandwiched herself between the two girls, all of whom were smiling big for the camera. While the final image was a group shot that showed the birthday girl looking all giddy as she posed for the family photo.

"Great bday morning!! Lucky me xoxoxo," she exclaimed in the caption of the sweet upload.

The NBC personality was met with even more birthday wishes from fans and colleagues in the comments.

"Happy birthday Hoda! 😍 🎉🎂🥳🎈🎊🎁," cheered media personality Katie Couric .

"We ❤️ you!" exclaimed the official Instagram account for the Today show's SiriusXM radio show. "Happy Birthday!"

"Best!!! Happy to get in a birthday hug!" added Newsday's Elisa DiStefano . Have the best day ❤️."

"Happy 6 0 to the best to ever do it @hodakotb ! We love ya 🎂💕," wrote radio host and SoulCycle master instructor Laurie Cole .

While her plans for her big birthday remain a mystery to fans, the network has confirmed Monday's episode of Today will include a special bash on the Plaza honoring their beloved co-host.
