Starbucks Fans Are Running to Disney for 'Nightmare' Halloween Cup

Starbucks fans are hyped up about a handful of new Halloween-themed pieces of merchandise expected to land on store shelves in the coming weeks.

While summer is still in full swing, Halloween items have already begun popping up in stores in anticipation of the excitement that typically surrounds fall’s spooky holiday. In addition to the seasonal mugs and tumblers Starbucks previewed ahead of its fall merchandise drop, reports indicate Disney is also preparing to release a special Starbucks Halloween cup.

Images of The Nightmare Before Christmas -themed tumbler were recently shared online by social media accounts that often provide Disney fans with insider looks at upcoming merchandise releases. Instagram users @magicalsoulfoodie and @DisneyKeep on X shared the same photo of the new cup in the last two weeks.

The tumbler is mostly black, with Tim Burton -styled images sprinkling its surface in green. The special holiday cup also comes with a green reusable straw.

The tumbler will only be available at Disney’s online store and Disney theme park locations, according to @magicalsoulfoodie. The tumbler’s release date had yet to be announced as of Friday, Aug. 9.

Most Starbucks fans appeared thrilled by the tumbler preview, with some declaring they “want” it as soon as possible.

“I need this when 🔥🔥🔥,” one Instagram user wanted to know.

“I need ittt,” one fan commented as another agreed, writing, “Omg I need that!!!”

“Need ❤️,” another person echoed.

While most fans were focused on finding out when the item would be available for purchase, not everyone was excited by the design.

“They so could of done so much better on this cup it’s a hard pass for me,” one Instagram user wrote.
