Actress Anya Taylor-Joy Welcomes ‘Beautiful’ New Family Member in Sweet Update

Anya Taylor-Joy , who married Malcolm McRae in 2022, shared some happy news with fans as she revealed her new family member—a tiny dog named "Bartok The Magnificent."

The movie actress took to Instagram to share the news, posting a couple of photos of herself and her puppy as well as a cute clip of Bartok excitedly running towards her.

In the first photo, Taylor-Joy took a selfie holding the chihuahua up to her face. She smiled at the camera as she flaunted her bare-faced beauty while wearing a light-colored baseball cap.

Taylor-Joy shared a second photo of a sweet moment between herself and her new puppy, with the 28-year-old giving Bartok a kiss as she lay on the floor to be closer to the dog.

Fans were just as excited about the big news, with strong reactions like, "BEAUTIFUL," "OMGGGG STOPPPPPP THIS IS SO CUTEEEE🤩🤩🤩😭😭😭😭😭," "Baby Bartok!!! Love you both so much 🥹🥹🥹💕💕💕💕."

Many fans highlighted Taylor-Joy's choice to name her dog after a character from the animated film Anastasia , a perfect fit considering the main character of the film is called Anya as well.

"Almost the same color as your hair," said a different fan, making Taylor-Joy and her pup feel like even more of a perfect match.

Taylor-Joy didn't share details about when she adopted her new dog, but fans couldn't get enough of him, so hopefully, she'll share more updates as Bartok gets older.

Right now, the actress is enjoying life after the successful release of both Furiosa and Dune: Part Two , the latter of which featured Taylor-Joy in a small yet significant role.
