Fans in Disbelief Over How Grown Jennifer Hudson's Son Looks in New Photo: 'Height Difference is Crazy'

Jennifer Hudson 's son is growing up—literally!

On August 11, the singer and actress took to Instagram to share a recent photo of herself with son David in honor of his 15th birthday, and fans can't get over how tall the teen has grown.

"Team Jhud, can yal help wish my kid @d.o.j10 a very happy blest 15th birthday! I can not believe that I got a 15 year old ! God is good ! Happy Birthday , my baby!!!!" Hudson wrote in her caption.

"The height difference is crazyyyy … happy bday young man! 🎉🥳," wrote one person.

"Happy Birthday DOJ 🎉🎂🎊!!! He growing up on us," noted another commenter, as a third added, "maam! this is not your baby quit playin!😍😍😍."

Hudson shares David with ex-fiancé David Otunga . The couple first got together in 2007, with Otunga proposing less than a year later, before ultimately splitting up in 2017.

The American Idol alum recently stunned fans with a performance of Leonard Cohen 's "Hallelujah" in the Louvre Museum while in Paris for the Olympic Games.

"A day at @museelouvre ! ✨ #Paris2024," she captioned the video on Instagram.

Hudson also reunited with her Sex in the City movie co-star , Sarah Jessica Parker , while she was in France, with the two posing for a highly fashionable photo in front of the Eiffel Tower.

"Look who I ran into in Paris !!" the Dreamgirls star captioned her post . "Carrie and Louise reunited at last! Love is the thing, you know! 😉 #SATC ."
