Krispy Kreme Just Dropped Its Fall Menu and Fans Are Divided

Fall menus are dropping left and right and with the return of pumpkin spice everything, we can say that fall is (almost) finally here. Starbucks and Dunkin' have excited fans with their fall menu releases, and even Cracker Barrel is getting in on the seasonal offerings with some apple flavors.

But one food chain may have released a dud instead of a winning lineup, and fans aren't sure this one is worth celebrating.

Content creator @snackolator shared the new Krispy Kreme fall menu on Instagram and he called it "boring" compared to other releases.

"Krispy Kreme just dropped their Pumpkin Spice lineup and it is definitely underwhelming in the doughnut area!" Snackolator wrote on the Instagram post he shared. "As a huge fan of the Krispy Kreme doughnut side of things, this is as boring as it gets."

This year, Krispy Kreme is releasing a Pumpkin Spice Latte in both iced and frozen varieties, along with their popular Pumpkin Spice Coffee. That sounds nice, but the problem is that this year, they will only have one pumpkin-flavored doughnut.

"While they have typically had three or four pumpkin spiced doughnuts in the past, this year you get one option: the Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut," Snackolator wrote. That is definitely a letdown for Krispy Kreme fans!

"Not the most exciting lineup but I love all things fall and will be enjoying it." someone commented on the Instagram post.

"Mid lol," another person said Someone else added "weak." It's definitely not top-tier.

Not everyone was upset by this menu, though.

"I’ll never get bored of the pumpkin spice doughnut!!!! 🥰 I always look forward to it every year!" someone chimed in, and another person added that they couldn't wait to grab a pumpkin doughnut. We have to admit that the frozen Pumpkin Spice Latte does look good!

Snackolator did hold out some hope, too. He said that by releasing only one doughnut, the company has left the door open to do some themed doughnut collections, which Krispy Kreme is known for.

These new fall items are out now and will be available through November 28th at Krispy Kreme locations.
