Fans Are 'Crying' Over Taylor Swift's Dad Scott's 'Iconic' Gesture During Eras Tour Show

Fans have nothing but praise for Taylor Swift’s father after Scott Swift was spotted providing some Swifties with an unexpected treat during one of his daughter’s recent Eras Tour shows.

In a video that one fan named Stephanie shared on TikTok , the pop star’s dad was filmed walking along a line of concertgoers who were at Wembley Stadium for one of the “Cruel Summer” songstress’ mid-August Eras Tour shows in London, England. As Scott walked past, he could be seen with a plate that the TikToker explained was carrying chicken tenders. They held up one piece of chicken they’d received from Scott and could be heard thanking him for the food.

Seeing the “Anti-Hero” singer’s dad “handing out chicken tenders during style somehow makes sense,” a text overlay included with the video said.

“Tell your dad I said thank you, it was just what I needed 🙏 @TaylorSwift,” the TikToker wrote in their video caption.

Though this isn’t the first time Scott has been spotted handing out food during an Eras Tour show—he notably distributed sandwiches to fans during a concert in Sydney, Australia, earlier this year—the sweet gesture has continued to impress fans, some of whom labeled the move “ICONIC.”

“This is so dad of him,” one person wrote as another dubbed Scott “a man of the people 🫡.”

“CRYING WHAT,” one fan commented.

“Did he have seemingly ranch 😂😂🤣🤣,” one TikToker wondered, referencing a viral meme about the 14-time Grammy Award winner eating chicken and “seemingly ranch” during a Kansas City Chiefs game last fall.

The more recent “very demure, very mindful” viral trend was also referenced in the video’s comment section, with one fan writing, “Very elegant, very classy, very demure and ofc very scottcore 🙏,” as another agreed that the gesture was “Very demure of Scott.”

Scott and Taylor’s mom, Andrea Swift , were both in attendance for their daughter’s Eras Tour shows at Wembley Stadium last week. The “Fortnight” singer has two more shows at Wembley on August 19 and 20 before her hit international tour goes on hiatus until mid-October.
