Jamie-Lynn Sigler Offers Health Update for Son After ‘Nightmare’ Diagnosis

Jamie-Lynn Sigler is sharing a big update regarding her son's "nightmare" medical emergency.

Over the weekend, Sigler shared a video of her 10-year-old son, Beau , walking down a hospital hallway lined with medical staff cheering him on.

"After 33 days, we are busting out of here!" the MeSsy podcast host exclaimed in the caption. "My brave boy, you are a walking miracle. The rest of this story will be Beau’s to tell, if he chooses to one day."

Sigler, 42, continued, thanking the "incredible" staff at Dells Children's Hospital in Austin, Texas as she praised them for how they care for their patients and guide loved ones through the process. "I just don’t have enough words," she wrote.

"I’m in awe of your patience, dedication, and expertise…. But, no offense.. I hope we never see you again ✌️," the doting mom of two joked, sharing one last note of gratitude for fans' prayers, "They worked. 🙏🏻."

Earlier this month, the Sopranos alum revealed what she thought was a "normal virus" for her son turned into a "nightmare" scenario health scare.

Alongside a selfie of her and Beau, Sigler explained, "4 weeks ago, what seemed like a normal virus for our son, turned into a nightmare. Beau has what we believe to be, ADEM," or Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, which can cause "acute and severe inflammation affecting the brain and spinal cord," per the National Institutes of Health , and "potentially arise after a viral illness."

"To say this has been hard, is an understatement," Sigler admitted at the time. "I’ve never felt more broken."

"But, I have also never felt more love. The way our friends and family have come to our rescue during this terrible time has been one of the most incredible things to experience," she added to her Aug. 6 upload , later noting, "The power of love, community and prayer is so real."

Along with Beau, the actress shares a younger son, Jack , with her husband of eight years, Cutter Dykstra .
