Fans couldn't hold back their excitement as they took in new photos showing Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles and record-breaking basketball player Caitlin Clark meeting for the first time after a WNBA game.
On Wednesday, Aug. 28, Biles attended what was reported to be her first WNBA game, watching Clark's team, Indiana Fever, win against the Connecticut Sun with a score of 84 to 80. She was accompanied by another legendary athlete, Gabby Thomas , a track and field star who won three gold medals at the 2024 Olympics.
At the game, Thomas, Biles and Clark posed for a photo together, and fans couldn't help but feel like worlds were colliding.
Indiana Fever shared the photo on X, along with snaps of Biles and Thomas with other team members, writing, "women supporting women 🤝 Simone Biles & Gabby Thomas were at @GainbridgeFH cheering on the squad tonight 🤩."
