Chiefs Share 'Riveting' Photos of Travis Kelce and Team Against the Ravens as They Prepare for Season Kickoff

Travis Kelce and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for their upcoming season opener—and so is the team's Instagram account.

Before the Chiefs face off against the Baltimore Ravens in the first game of the season on Thursday, Sept. 5, those in charge of the team's social media pages took to Instagram to share some "riveting" photos of Chiefs-Ravens matchups from years past.

The series of action shots shared on Monday, Sept. 2, of course featured some photos of Kelce, including a snap of the tight end diving on the ground for a catch. Another shot showed Taylor Swift 's boyfriend running with the ball with one arm outstretched to block players on the opposing team.

Also featured in some of the pics were the team's star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes , as well as wide receiver Mecole Hardman , safety Justin Reid , defensive tackle Chris Jones and kicker Harrison Butker .

"Some riveting games against the Ravens through the years ⏮️" the Chiefs' post read, while Kansas City fans in the comments shared their enthusiasm over the upcoming season opener.

"LETS GO" one hyped-up fan wrote under the post, while someone else added, "CAN'T WAIT FOR GAMEDAY."

"I swear ravens vs chiefs will always be a fav to watch it's close and [competitive]," someone else wrote about the two teams, who will be facing off on the Chiefs' home turf at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday.

The Ravens likely have some unfinished business with the Chiefs going into this NFL season, after the Baltimore-based team lost in the AFC Championship game back in January.

The Chiefs went on to win their second Super Bowl in a row the following month, and now Kelce, Mahomes and the rest of their squad are aiming for a 3-peat this season.
