Golden Retriever Brings All the Drama After Having Bandage on His Leg

A Golden Retriever went full typical by showing off his ability to cause drama because he has a bandage on his leg.

On July 15, 2024, TikTok user Winston The Golden (@wackowinston) shared a clip of the sweet and sleepy Golden Retriever who wasn't handling his need for a bandage too well. Take a look!

In the minute-long clip, we meet up with Winston , a beautiful caramel-colored Golden Retriever who is taking a nap on the floor in the kitchen.

It might seem like any day for the dog, except you can see there's something really bothering him.

"POV: Winston has a bandage on and is acting so dramatic," the text on the screen reads.

"Could you be more dramatic?" Mom asks her pup, who has placed himself on the floor, looking like the saddest, most tired dog ever.

"You can walk," Mom reminds him, which causes him to briefly lift his hand and then flop it right back down as if telling her that he very certainly can not walk.

Mom then reminds Winston that he's not supposed to lick or bite the bandage off, and that reminder sets him off to sad puppy eyes.

"You can walk, I swear," Mom tells him while he still looks very concerned and refuses to get up.

Winston eventually stands up but hesitates to take any steps. "Go ahead, you can step," Mom encourages him. But he just stands there, holding his ground that he can not walk.

She tried to encourage him to move by rolling a ball in his direction, which didn't work right away. But then he seemed interested in the ball and went to smell it. But that foot, on which he has a bandage, he won't put his weight.

Mom then giggles at his dramatic refusal to walk with the bandage on. He's giving off a full, hilarious show, ending with a slow run that has him limping.

"So dramatic," the video's caption reads. People in the comments also had a field day with the video.

According to the American Kennel Club, these dogs are "devoted, intelligent, and friendly," and they're great with family, kids, and other dogs.

"Goldens are outgoing, trustworthy, and eager-to-please family dogs, and relatively easy to train," the experts say.
