Dog Mom Showcases Hilarious Challange of Trying to Change Sheets with a Frenchie

Does your dog like to ‘help’ with everyday activities? Mine always seem to enjoy participating in my workout by licking my face or sitting on my lap. Occasionally, they also like chasing the vacuum when I clean the floors. While this happiness and chaos can help them tire out, sometimes I simply want to complete the task at hand.

One mom regularly experiences this when she tries to change the sheets. Although this French Bulldog may not make her job easier, he makes it much more entertaining.

Watch her adorable roadblock in action in this video shared on July 30:

Even though Mom thought it was a good day to change the sheets, Rambo (@ rambofrenchbulldog ) thought it was a great day to have a good time! It’s difficult to resist his adorable little face and joyful spins. These delightful bursts of energy radiate pure happiness, so it’s tough to interrupt them when they’re simply trying to express how thrilled they are to be with us. Even though they may slow us down, perhaps that’s what they’re meant to do. Dogs have a knack for savoring every moment of the day, and just because Mom is changing the sheets doesn’t mean she can’t have fun while doing it. Our furry friends are the best teachers for lessons like these.

    What Are Dog Zoomies?

According to The Wildest, the technical term for this behavior is frenetic random activity periods or FRAP. These periods help animals relieve pent-up energy and show their excitement. Dog zoomies can occur for several reasons, including seeing their favorite person, being released from their crates, or after taking a bath . They are normal dog behavior, and unless they are running with an object in their mouths or near something hazardous, like a roadway or water, they are harmless and often short-lived. While any dog can have them, smaller dogs like French Bulldogs and younger dogs tend to exhibit them more often.

Pet’s parents understood this funny reality. One person responded, “Like my Loki. I can’t hoover, dust anything, mop the kitchen floor, and he goes berserk when the mail carrier comes. Lol, especially if he brings a parcel. Loki thinks he’s gotta destroy it.” They always want to help. Another person shared, “Literally every time! We have to put an extra pillow case onto the floor when we change it so he thinks he’s sitting on some of the new bedding.” I may try that because mine can’t wait to jump on the fresh sheets, either.

While we may never fully understand their reasoning, at least they don’t complain about doing chores. Even if they aren’t much help, they definitely brighten the mood.
