Some people truly believe that humans and their pets start to look alike the more time they spend together... but some cat and dog moms go the extra mile to make sure that happens. It's only natural — of course we're going to want to buy toys, beds, and other supplies that we think are cute, and if you like to dress up your pet in little animal-sized clothes, it can be kind of fun to choose outfits that look like something you would wear (especially if a matching version truly is available).

But this mom is taking it to the next level by making sure that she and her cat have the same hairstyle, and honestly? The results are so hilarious that I'm not sure why more pet parents haven't bought their cats wigs at this point...

According to cat mom @lyssielooloo , this all started when she bought a bob wig for herself that she loved so much that she decided the next logical step was buying a tiny, cat-sized bob wig for her Ragdoll cat.

Impressively enough, she managed to get the wig on her cat's head without any retaliation from her feline daughter, which might be farther than a lot of us could manage. And honestly, it was worth it, because the end result is so funny. I've never seen such a chic cat before in my life!

While the kitty's mom admitted that the bob was "too long for her facial structure," I think with a little clipping, it could be perfect... as long as her cat is willing to wear it like the style icon she is.

But truly, Juni is a star just for being cooperative and making her mom happy by letting her have fun with the wig. Many cats out there simply would not stand for it!

Tips for Getting Cats to Wear Costumes

There are some cats who will put a full stop to the idea of any kind of clothes or costumes — wigs included. But with Halloween right around the corner (and, if you're like me, you're probably feeling a little extra inspired after seeing this video), there are a few tips you can try to see if your kitty will accept their fate and dress up.

For example: one cat enthusiast website recommends letting your cat smell and check out their costume while giving them yummy treats to reward them — and, of course, offer more positive reinforcement when they let you drape the costume on their back, testing the waters before you put it on for real.

Some cats will truly hate costumes, and that's okay — maybe a cute-themed collar will be more their speed.

After all, not every kitty out there is going to be as tolerant as Juni!
