Ragdoll cats are well known for their outgoing and affectionate personalities. As their name implies, they often relax fully in their human's arms, happy to be stroked and loved. Apparently, even wild animals can sense their gentle and friendly nature.
One daring deer felt no threat when entering a Ragdoll feline’s kingdom. While someone may have made a mistake leaving the gate open, it seems both these creatures were pleased by this error.

Can you imagine walking into your backyard to ensure your cat was safe, only to see a deer becoming their friend? It is a sight to behold! This friendly little doe didn’t even run away when it spotted Willow’s (@ willowdeaux ) parent recording. Talk about a scene from the Disney movie! Willow even showed her excitement about meeting this new friend by joyfully rolling onto her back. Perhaps this little deer had been raised by kitties because she sure seemed to be comfortable around them. These two are cute enough to get their series or, at the very least, a children’s book.

Notable Traits of Ragdoll Cats
California breeder Ann Baker developed the Ragdoll cat in the 1960s after noticing a litter's sweet temperament and tendency to go limp when picked up. With their beautiful, long fur and striking blue eyes, these large cats can weigh anywhere from 8 to 20 pounds. Because of their friendly and playful personalities, they are often compared to their canine counterparts, with some even being trained to fetch toys . Their laid-back nature makes them good with children and other pets.
People were shocked by this unexpected backyard play date. Viewer @_sunshinekittycats remarked, “Are you serious? Lol, this is the most absurd situation. Willow didn’t even leave, but a deer showed up and was being friends with her?! LOL, are you sure this isn’t a skit for a movie or TV show?” It’s almost sad to think that with the gate closed, they won’t be able to frolic together again. Another person responded, “Cat: hey, you left the gate open, so I told my friend I can’t leave the yard, but he can come in. I hope it’s okay. I told him he could stay for dinner.” That sounds about right. Viewer @doris.maggie.milo remarked, “Hahaha, and he just walks by the deer like he’s chilling with his homie.” She was as cool as a cucumber.
Thankfully, Willow knew enough to stay in her yard and, without even trying, made a new friend. Hopefully, these two pals will see each other safely again one day soon.
