Repairs scheduled after emergency closure of Lewiston bridge
LEWISTON, Maine — Work is now planned to repair a bridge in Lewiston following an emergency closure last month. On June 25, part of the surface of the Gully Brook Bridge, which carries Lincoln Street over where the brook empties into the Androscoggin River, was abruptly closed for a couple of hours after part of the pavement and bridge surface buckled.
