Oswego County Unveils Shoreline Stabilization Project
OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at Camp Hollis on Wednesday to celebrate the completion of the shoreline stabilization project. The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau received $500,000 in funding through the New York State Lake Ontario Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative (REDI) to maintain, sustain and protect the Lake Ontario shoreline at Camp Hollis. Attendees included representatives from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, the Oswego County Legislature, the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau, and representatives from state and regional officials and contractors. Oswego County Recognizes National Pre-Trial Probation Supervision Week
OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature proclaimed July 21 through 27 National Pre-trial Probation Supervision Week. The Legislature’s Public Safety Committee presented a certificate to Oswego County Probation Director David Hall at its July meeting. The week serves to recognize the hard work that probation professionals do to uphold the law and protect our communities. OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Veterans’ Services Agency (VSA) has another 1,250 farmers’ market coupons available for veterans and eligible family members who did not receive them in the first round.
