Owner of this 34-year-old Wichita restaurant is ready to retire, announces plans to close
Ever since her husband’s death five years ago, May Khoury has been running Po Boy Pizza at 5619 E. Lincoln on her own. Now, she says, she’s ready to retire. Khoury and her grown sons, Matthew and Ryan, are announcing today their plans to close Po Boy Pizza, which has operated since 1990.
Iconic Wichita mansion gets a long overdue makeover
The Sternberg Mansion, built in 1886 on north Waco, has sat in a dilapidated state for several years. In 2022, local remodeler Pepin Suter bought the home and has transformed it to much of it's original glory. Suter, a recovering alcoholic and addict, will use the home as a sober living space that can house up to 14 people.
