Beloved N.J. high school principal dies suddenly a week after graduation
The principal of Bergenfield High School in Bergen County died on Thursday, a week after graduation and after serving 30 years with the district, officials said Friday. James Fasano, 59, led the high school through “a remarkable transformation” that included a spot in U.S. News & World Report’s Best High School rankings for eight consecutive years, according to Superintendent Christopher Tully.

Nutley Board of Education Announces Funds For Budget Shortfall Received; New Business Administrator Hired
NUTLEY, NJ - The Nutley Board of Education reported on June 17, 2024, that funds to cover the district’s $7 million shortfall have been received from the New Jersey Department of Education.
